Shüsh Privacy Policy

Shüsh is designed to provide live on-device noise filtering and optional background nature sounds. This Privacy Policy explains what information Shüsh collects, how it is used, and how microphone audio is handled.

Information We Collect

Shüsh does not require users to create an account.

Shüsh may collect or access the following information:

Microphone input, only while live filtering is active.
Subscription status provided by Apple through StoreKit.
App diagnostics or crash information provided by Apple, if enabled by the user through Apple settings.
Anonymous or aggregated usage metrics, if added in a future version, such as app opens, feature usage, filtering session duration ranges, or purchase flow events.

Microphone Audio

Shüsh uses microphone access to perform live audio filtering on the device.

Shüsh does not record microphone audio. Shüsh does not store microphone audio. Shüsh does not upload microphone audio. Shüsh does not create transcripts of conversations. Microphone audio is processed locally on the device for the sole purpose of noise filtering and realtime playback.

Nature Sounds

Shüsh includes optional background nature sounds. Playing these sounds does not require collecting personal information.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Shüsh Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Shüsh receives subscription entitlement status from Apple, such as whether a valid subscription is active. Shüsh does not receive or store your full payment card information.

For subscription management, cancellation, refunds, and billing information, please use your Apple ID subscription settings or contact Apple Support.

Analytics

Shüsh may use privacy-preserving analytics in the future to understand general app usage and improve reliability. If analytics are used, they will not include microphone audio, processed audio, transcripts, or conversation content.

Examples of analytics may include:

Whether the app was opened.
Whether free filtering time was used.
Whether a nature sound was turned on.
Whether a subscription screen was viewed.
Whether an audio route or microphone error occurred.

Analytics, if used, will be disclosed in App Store privacy information.

Data Sharing

Shüsh does not sell personal information. Shüsh does not share microphone audio with third parties.

Information may be processed by Apple as part of App Store purchases, subscriptions, crash reports, or App Store analytics, subject to Apple's policies.

Data Retention

Shüsh stores limited local app settings on your device, such as free-tier usage information and app preferences. You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

Children

Shüsh is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require account creation or submission of personal information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted with a new effective date.
